Lenten Prayer Practice – Day Twenty-Five

Lenten Prayer Practice – Day Twenty-Five Nicole

open perspective

Do I have courage to be #open to Love’s perspective? #BeMyVision #UCC

Holy Trinity, center me now that I may notice Your creative intention, nest in the broad, safe space of Your presence, and intentionally nurture another with the same.

What word or phrase do I notice on which I may center:

1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t be impressed with his looks or stature, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” [MSG/NLT]

Line the nest of God’s presence with this prayer for _______ and myself:

Jesus, thank you, for knowing me as I am most truly. Holy Spirit, thank you, for loving_______ by knowing________. Help me to pull down the façade of who I think others want me to be. Help greater insight of ________’s true self—the unique image of you—take place. Give ________ the courage to live fully into this awareness in a specific way this day. Amen.

How will I intentionally nurture ________ today:
